Talent pool vacancy. Your application stays on file for twelve months.
About the role
Plan and direct content that earns attention and produces enquiries, with the authority to say no to content nobody needs.
Most content programs fail because nobody decided what the content was for. You will decide. You own the editorial plan for six to eight clients, from the commercial question the content answers through to how it gets distributed and what it is expected to produce.
You will work with subject matter experts inside client businesses, so the work has genuine expertise behind it rather than paraphrased competitor pages. Interviewing an expert well is a core skill in this role.
You are also the person who protects quality. If a piece will not help a reader or will not help the business, you cancel it and reallocate the budget.

| Expert interviews | Interview client experts and turn transcripts into original material with a point of view. |
| Editing | Edit for accuracy, clarity and usefulness, and reject work that does not meet the standard. |
| Distribution | Plan how each piece reaches an audience through search, social, email and paid amplification. |
| Performance | Review what content produced in enquiries and retire what does not work. |
| Governance | Maintain voice guidelines, factual sourcing standards and disclosure practices. |

How success is measured
These are the numbers reviewed with you every quarter. There is no hidden scorecard.
| Measure | What good looks like |
|---|---|
| Content producing enquiries | At least 40 percent of published pieces contributing measurable enquiries within two quarters |
| Plan adherence | 85 percent of planned pieces shipped on schedule |

| Expert input | Every substantive piece grounded in an interview, data set or firsthand source |
This role is probably not for you if
- You measure content by volume published
- You are happy to publish work you would not read yourself
- You want a brief handed to you rather than deciding the plan

Questions applicants ask
Is this a talent pool vacancy
Yes. Every vacancy we publish is a talent pool vacancy. If this Content Strategist opening is filled, your application stays on file for twelve months and is matched against comparable roles in any of our United States locations before we advertise externally.
Do I need to live in Boston
You need to be authorized to work in the United States and based within commuting distance of Boston for occasional in person client sessions. Day to day work is remote first.
Do you sponsor work visas
Not for this role. All United States vacancies require existing authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
Is the salary range negotiable
The published range is real. Where you land inside it depends on the practical exercise, the panel conversation and your directly relevant experience. We do not ask for salary history.
How quickly will I hear back
Every applicant gets a written answer within five business days, including applicants we do not move forward with. Nobody is left waiting without a reply.
