Accessibility statement

We target WCAG 2.2 level AA on this site and on every website we build for clients. This page states what we have tested, what we know is imperfect, and how quickly we respond if something blocks you.

  • WCAG 2.2 AA target for this site and client builds
  • Keyboard and screen reader paths tested on every form
  • Known gaps published rather than hidden
  • Barriers answered within 5 working days

What we have tested

Keyboard navigation
Every interactive element, including the country dial code selector and the multi-step forms, is reachable and operable by keyboard with visible focus.
Screen readers
Tested with VoiceOver on macOS and iOS and NVDA on Windows, covering the homepage, service catalogue and both forms.
Contrast
Body and interface text meets at least 4.5:1, and large headings at least 3:1, in the default theme.
Motion
No autoplaying video and no parallax. Logo marquees respect reduced motion preferences.
Forms
Every field has a persistent visible label, plain-language help text, and errors described in words rather than colour alone.
Zoom and reflow
Content reflows to 320 pixels wide and remains usable at 200% zoom without horizontal scrolling.

Known gaps and what we are doing

Long service catalogue

The 95 item catalogue is long for screen reader users. Search filtering helps, and we are adding grouped landmark navigation in the next release.

Third-party logos

Brand logos are loaded from an external logo service. Each has a text label beside it, so a failed image never removes meaning.

PDF reports

Audit reports are currently sent as PDFs which are tagged but not yet fully AA verified. We will send an accessible HTML or plain-text version on request, at no cost.

Assessment basis

This statement is based on internal testing rather than a third-party audit. An independent audit is scheduled and we will publish the findings, including anything unflattering.

Reporting a barrier

How to tell us

Email accessibility@firstpersonmarketing.com with the page, what you were trying to do and the assistive technology you use. If it is easier, phone us and we will write it up for you.

What happens next

We acknowledge within one working day and respond within five with either a fix, a date for one, or an honest explanation of why it is harder than it looks.

Alternative formats

Any content on this site is available in large print, plain text or read aloud on a call, at no cost and without needing to explain why.

Client work

Sites and landing pages we build for clients are held to the same target, and accessibility checks are part of the pre-launch standard rather than an optional extra.

Need this information another way?

Email accessibility@firstpersonmarketing.com and we will provide any page in a format that works for you, or walk you through the audit questions on a call.
